Track Name: Barrow - Resembool
How could anything amount to what I've lost? I've laid it upon the wooden floor. Planned out according to the structure of those gone before, with the loss of a body of a brother, the sinews and bones of my extremities. She will never return. She forever remains in the dirt. Can a son be at fault for wanting to see his mother again? Every action calls for reaction. I didn't know it called for much until I saw the blood on the ground. I heard my brother’s voice crying, “Help me, dear god. Brother, help me.”
I knew time was growing short; his spirit was fading. With one last hope of saving, I offered myself up again.
Track Name: Oddczar - Purple Hearts
I fought harder for the let downs than any of the accolades. It's so much easier to fight with something that takes your place.
Purple heart.
Maybe this time apart is just the bottle we've been drowning in.
So where's that smile, and the light in those eyes? I miss the subtleties and simple things I used to know in the passenger seat. I miss that happiness with you around.
We don't make requests. We wear our wounds in sugar skulls and photographs.
I just can't wait until we look back on this and laugh.
I just watched the sky fall.
You're not home.
